The Billinghay History Group known as “Past Times” is a small group of people from Billinghay and the surrounding area interested in all aspects of History. The Group normally meet once a month at the Ship Inn, High Street, Billinghay, Lincoln.
Usually meetings are held on the last Tuesday or Wednesday of the month subject to availability of room and speakers. The program of Events is available in the “What’s On” section of the website – see menu.
It is our intention whenever possible to have talks on subjects that relate to the Lincolnshire and Lincolnshire people but we do have other topics on offer!
There is no membership fee but we do charge a small amount to people attending presentations to cover the cost of the speaker and publicity for the talks.
In addition, we have a small library of Family History literature and are willing to help residents with their family history research. No charge is made for our services but where documents are required from Archives or Registrars, we consult the enquirer before incurring any expense to them.
